Subject (LCSH)Bagshaw, Enoch (1882-1930)
DescriptionBorn in Flint, Wales, Enoch Bagshaw (b. January, 1882 and d.1930) was a championship football coach, first gaining this status with Everett High School teams in Everett, Washington (1911-1920) and later with the University of Washington (1921-1929). More can be seen about Bagshaw in an article written by David Dilgard and publilshed in the Journal of Everett and Snohomish County History, Vol 7, Autumn 1985. Bagshaw's birth date is a mystery. Church records list it as 1882 but Bagshaw's military records give 1884. Bagshaw also appears to have spelled his name as Enock, although it is clearly listed in publications as Enoch.
